A wilderness expedition - whether exploring the vastness of a desert or climbing an icy peak - is always the culmination of a dream.

Planning an expedition, however, is seldom an easy task. Perhaps the biggest worry is the "What if?" factor - what if, far from civilization and the familiar comforts of immediate help, someone becomes sick or is injured?

Wild Medix provides a range of expedition medical services, starting with simple needs assessment and advice. Consult with us regarding risks, contingency planning or medical problems relevant to the remote regions, high altitudes or extremes of environment that you will be visiting. We also provide first aid training aimed at self-sufficiency when medical problems arise in the wilds, and can supply you with the appropriate equipment.

Wild Medix also offers the unique Expedition Medic service. We will pair an appropriately experienced, specially equipped and trained medic with your expedition, to accompany you on whatever activities you may have planned, and deal with any emerging medical problems and emergencies.

Our Expedition Medics are all medical professionals, and we will match the level of medical training to your requirements - right up to specialized medical doctors - to meet your need for field intervention, stabilization and transportation to definitive care.
