The Pre-Med Academy programme is designed to expose learners to various skills

and experts in medicine and the following topics are discussed and experienced:

Emergency medicine
Advanced resuscitation skills
Advanced airway management skills
Ultrasound examination
Pulse oximetry
Scrub for surgery and hygiene
Basic surgical skills
Wound suturing
Phlebotomy and IV skills
X-Ray analysis

 

We also provide focused medical career guidance and on the final day the participants complete the American Heart Association accredited Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (AHA BLS-HCP) course for which they receive formal certification.

Participants receive a certificate of attendance for the programme which will assist in building a suitabe CV for later application to medical school.

The Wild Medix Pre-Med Academy aims to prepare high school seniors and post-matrics

for a possible career in medicine.

During the programme the participants receive lectures, skills training and career guidance from experienced doctors and medics and exposure to various fields of medicine.
