The Rhino Rescue Chest Seal is an occlusive dressing designed to effectively treat open chest wounds and prevent tension pneumothorax , a leading cause of preventable death in emergency situations.

- Three ventilation channels allow air to escape during exhalation, while blocking the flow into the thoracic cavity during inspiration, optimizing the patient’s breathing.
- Medical grade hydrogel adhesive ensures a superior seal even under adverse conditions such as wet, hairy skin, or skin exposed to blood and water .
- Two gripping tabs allowing for quick, one step application and removal.
- Contains gauze for wiping the wound clear of excess moisture to allow for a more secure seal.
